Water & Sanitation Projects

In 2023 -2024 Operation La Paz supported the development and implementation of Rotary International’s two water projects in La Paz.

A new well in Cane : The 40 year old well in Cane was failing, and the community of 900 people were relying on water delivery which was provided every 25 to 40 days. The new well is providing running water and healthier living for this community

Water Filters in Guachipilin: This mountain community of over 350 people does not have any municipal systems available. The International Rotary Project provides 100 water filters, 55 latrines and 65 pilas, enough for each home.

These two projects help the people in these communities improve their living conditions and health.
