2025 Update

Aldea El Ocotal School
Delivered 28 locally built tables/desks, 85 student chairs, and a teacher’s desk and chair.

Rolando Bonilla School
Supplied doors, two toilets, and sinks for this remote mountain school serving about 38 students. The labor was completed by the teacher’s father and other parents, with support from our local foreman, Rafa.

Nurturing Fathers Program
Nine fathers graduated from this 13-week program. Many shared that they grew up without a father and learned a lot through the group discussions. Several mothers reported positive changes in their families since the program began.

Hospital Roberto Suazo
Installed a toilet and hand sink in the laboratory area.

Cervantes High School
Installed ceilings and air conditioners in two new Nursing Program classrooms, and added an air conditioner to the English Bilingual Program. Donated two CPR mannequins to the Nursing Program.

Escuela Miguel Paz Barahona
Finished walls and repaired the ceiling. Also provided two metal bookcases and a step to help younger students reach the sink.

In addition to these projects, Operation La Paz continues to support teachers, students, and families through school supplies, books, clothing, hygiene items, and food and fruit distributions. As always, we must thank our Project Supervisor in La Paz, Rafa.
